Kangaroo Island has long held a special place in the heart of our firm.

For many years, making the trip across the water to sit down with clients face to face has been one of the most valued parts of what we do. When we took over the legal practice of well-known island solicitor Michael Kildae, we didn't just inherit a client list, we inherited a relationship with this community. A responsibility to the farmers, business owners, families, and individuals who rely on having a trusted lawyer they can actually speak to, not a call centre or a website form.

We have taken that responsibility seriously ever since.

Rosey Batt & Associates is becoming Batt Griffith Legal.

Rosey Batt founded this practice on a simple belief: that South Australians, wherever they live, deserve legal advice that is practical, personal, and delivered by people who genuinely care. Over more than two decades, she built a firm recognised for its expertise, its warmth, and its deep commitment to the clients and communities it serves.

Rebekah Griffith has been part of that story for the last decade. Many of you will know Rebekah from her visits to the island. She is someone who listens first, and gives straight answers. It is with great pride that Rebekah now steps forward as Principal of the firm, with Rosey remaining as a consultant and very much still part of the team she built.

For Kangaroo Island clients, nothing changes except the name on the letterhead. The same team. The same personal service. The same commitment to making the trip over, sitting at your kitchen table if that is what works best, and giving you advice you can actually use.
